In an effort to learn more about the condition, increase awareness, and ultimately reduce the incidence of Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome (BOAS), researchers at the University of Cambridge in the UK developed the Respiratory Function Grading Scheme (RFGS).
The goal of the RFGS is to develop an objective test to measure the clinical diagnosis and severity of BOAS.

Human Remains Detection Workshop | Susan Read

Susan started out with a career as an educator, and became a professional dog trainer in 1995. She specializes in teaching Tracking Through Drive, and travels extensively throughout Ontario, leading workshops on Tracking and Human Remains Detection.
Her experience in Search and Rescue (SAR) spans over two decades, beginning in 2001. Since 2008 she has served as a K9 handler, bringing advanced skills to the field. Currently, she is the Head K9 Trainer with Georgian Bay Search & Rescue and the Provincial K9 Coordinator for the Ontario Search and Rescue Volunteer Association.
Susan is currently working with two Belgian Malinois; one certified in Live Find through the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and one certified in Human Remains Detection through the North American Police Work Dog Association.
This full day workshop will focus on decomposition, imprinting and commitment to odour.

How To Handle Your Way Out of a Paper Bag | William Alexander
Saturday June 6 and Sunday June 7, 2026
The clinic is a mix of lectures, demonstrations and floor time working with your own dog as well as a mock show on the second day. Participants will be split based on experience level.
Day one will be hosted indoors at our air-conditioned facility in Kingston, Ontario and day two will be hosted outdoors at our beauitful outdoor field in Harrowsmith, Ontario!
