Join us for a thrilling one-day rat sports workshop where dog and handler teams will be introduced to the exciting world of finding rats together. Learn the RATS! Canada organization rules and guidelines to ensure a positive experience for both dogs and rats.
This workshop will cover essential training techniques, safety protocols, and the unique dynamics of introducing canines to our small, furry friends safely through specialized tubes. Students will engage in hands-on sessions that emphasize teamwork, trust, and the joy of rat sports, making it a fun-filled day for everyone involved.

Human Remains Detection Workshop | Susan Read

Susan started out with a career as an educator, and became a professional dog trainer in 1995. She specializes in teaching Tracking Through Drive, and travels extensively throughout Ontario, leading workshops on Tracking and Human Remains Detection.
Her experience in Search and Rescue (SAR) spans over two decades, beginning in 2001. Since 2008 she has served as a K9 handler, bringing advanced skills to the field. Currently, she is the Head K9 Trainer with Georgian Bay Search & Rescue and the Provincial K9 Coordinator for the Ontario Search and Rescue Volunteer Association.
Susan is currently working with two Belgian Malinois; one certified in Live Find through the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and one certified in Human Remains Detection through the North American Police Work Dog Association.
This full day workshop will focus on decomposition, imprinting and commitment to odour.

OFA CAER Eye Clinic | Dr. B. SpiessList Item 3

The purpose of the OFA Companion Animal Eye Registry (CAER) is to provide breeders with information regarding canine eye diseases so that they may make informed breeding decisions in an effort to produce healthier dogs. CAER certifications will be performed by board certified (ACVO) veterinary ophthalmologists.
