This fun and fast moving activity is a fan favourite - and for good reason! In agility, dogs and their handlers work through a course of obstacles, which can include jumps, tunnels, weave poles, teeter-totters, and more, using voice and hand commands. Agility can be done for fun or for competition in a trial environment.
Agility courses at Luv-A-K9 are open to dogs and handlers who have completed Intermediate Obedience and are looking to keep training and having fun! We are pleased to offer Agility at three experience levels.
Agility Courses
Beginner
Get acquainted with Agility! This course introduces dogs to small versions of the equipment and focuses on learning commands. By the end of the course, your dog will confidently approach each piece of equipment and will be able to navigate basic agility courses off leash.
Prerequisite:
Intermediate Obedience
This course runs for 1-hour a week for 6 weeks and costs $180+ HST.
Intermediate
Build on your progress in Beginner Agility and continue to build your dog's confidence on the equipment and begin developing your skills as an agility handler. You'll finalize command recognition and begin navigating intermediate level courses off leash together!
Prerequisite:
Beginner Agility
This course runs for 1-hour a week for 6 weeks and costs $180+ HST.
Advanced
Learn advanced skills such as "sending" and expand your dog's understanding of hand and verbal skills in agility. Practice walking a course, rear crosses, course memorization, and expand your dog's skills and focus for longer, more advanced courses.

Intermediate Agility
This course runs for 1-hour a week for 6 weeks and costs $180+ HST.
